Which airline/alliance is best/worst for crediting partner points?

What airlines or alliances are best and worst for crediting partner points. In my experience:

Best - oneworld airlines - never more than a few days before your travel shows up on your online statement, regardless of who you flew, drove or stayed at. Standout is Qantas which is where most of my OW travel is done.

Worst - Star Alliance airlines - they seem to hate crediting partner miles even if you try all possible avenues. Worst culprit is United.

My experiences are one of many, would be interested to hear others' thoughts. Also, if anyone has any knowledge of the IT systems of the airlines/alliances and whether they make any particular ones better or worse in terms of communicating with each other.
