We're talking about the same thing. If you price an itinerary on the web site, and you can't view the fare rules for that particular itinerary, that's a pretty sure sign you're looking at a web-only fare basis.

You could also try looking up flights using the AmEx interface to ITN. If you see different prices/fares, you'll know something's up.
