I must admit, after thinking about this for a while, that this is a further diminishment of Customer Service coupons.
I strongly urge UAL to indicate on UAL.COM which fares are so restricted that they are web only fares. Unless, of course, management wants to move certain fare class inventories between UAL.COM to regular Rez on a day to day or minute to minute basis.
As Droneklax mentions in another thread re electronic coupons, the hope we had of finding UAL more user friendly has yet to be achieved.
