What's listed in the FAQ requires pumping in additional funds (e.g., via credit card) which had not previously been committed to Southwest, though. Using my terminology, it says when combining A and B, you can pick Z > A+B, and make up the difference, thus guaranteeing that you really have reduced 2 Ticketless Travel funds to just 1. I was hoping somebody might have spotted a loophole that doesn't require putting in additional funds, and doesn't require 6 iterations to reduce 8 Ticketless Travel funds down to 2 (usable in a single real future ticketing transaction).
