First of all, I am surprised that this thread is popping up all the time.
Also, I agree with DFW-SEN, I know Lufthansa as a good service provider. However, there are a couple of rules, like good behavior and not try to fool them. Sometimes, the purser needs a little bit of "re-setting", but if you tell him/her the facts and if you make sure that this is important for you, you might end up with a satisfactory solution.
