EEE PC goes swimming

I'm in Georgetown,Great Exhuma, the Bahamas with my new PC 4G. When I got here last nignt I set it up to recharge. I neglected to look up where there was an air conditioner about 10 feet above. I took a nap and my wife woke me saying she head something dripping. Of course, it was the A/C directly over the EEE. The water dripped directly onto the screen and keyboard and there were big puddles all over the table it was on. Disaster in the making.

I quickly removed it, inverted it and dried it with a soft towel. I then spent 1/2 hour with a blow drier, blowing hot air into every orifice.

1/2 hour later, I decided to push the on button (I know I should have waited longer).

AND, it booted up fine. There is no apparent damage. I checked the speakers (the still have the same 'tinny' sound). This machine must really be built to take a beating. I am really impressed and will keep a look out for airconditioning in the future
