If you opt for the main course salad you should be able to have a full, albeit cold, meal straight away (ie. before the first bar service). Personally I'm very happy to do this as it pleases the pax and means one less to serve during the main meal service . I wouldn't advise having the hot option from the club kitchen. Haven't met one colleague who thinks they are pleasant, me included. Try and get a window seat upstairs if on 747, pop on an eye mask, insert earplugs (remember to roll them thin and quickly slide into your ear, then hold it in place whilst it expands to fill the ear cavity). You should have a great sleep!
