United just announced that their entire fleet of B747-400s have been fitted with First Suites, so yes you will be in a First Suite.

If I were you, I would fly from CHicago to Tokyo then on to Seoul unless you want to stopover on the west coast in Seattle, Los Angeles or San Francisco either on the way there or on the way back. You're allowed either one stopover or one open jaw total on an award ticket.
