Currently I'm waitlisted for a flight and was added as a Gold. Under the existing system I don't believe my place on the waitlist was automatically updated to Plat. Any idea if the international rewards desk people are familiar with this little quirk or will I get a "don't worry your status updated automatically" when I call?

Hi Lurker1999, this improvement is still a few months away. The goal is still to have it implemented in time for the 2008 Elite year.
