I read your post over an over and there was only one thing i kept thinking but before i tell you, check this out.
Cal knows that may be the average person that looks for a cheap fare is going to sit in coach so therefore cal provides a basic meal to keep prices low.
Cal also knows that those of you who are a bit choosey might opt to purchase a better quality meal at the airport.
You know what cal serves onboard is free. Free for those who want it and for those who don't , you are free to turn it down. Free is free. You want a better meal pack your lunch, buy it at the airport or have your wife cook you something but she probably won't because she already knows what most of us just found out by your post.

I agree with You 1000% and 0% with Cal P ,However there is Absolutly no rhyme or reason to call another FTer "Stupid". You can call a thought process ridiculous or Dumb but NOT a person, nor infer that a person is like their thought process which you feel is Stupid.
I know I have had my share of LessThen Bright posts, Im sure everyone at 1 time or another has also. I dont ever remember anyone calling Me a name or putting Me down for it as You have to Cal P.
An Apology is in order to Cal P, IMHO.
