I understand this explanation but I am surprised. It means in particular that the AB and JK seats are exactly the same in CE and ET all the way back to row 26.
I'd be surprised if any seats up front are permanently wider than those in the back (but can't rule it out). What I'm fairly positive about is that the middle segment in the first row in Y is three seats and that that row is exactly as wide as the one in front of it. Maybe the OP can do some research for us during his/her flight?
When the CSD comes round and asks why you are measuring all the seats with a tape measure, "doing some research for Flyer Talk" is an adequate explanation?
