I agree. However, pricing differently for non-stop vs. connection is not price discrimination. It's similar to going to a warehouse to buy groceries vs. the convenience store next door. Same food, but different prices for different levels of convenience.
Price discrimination is the advance purchase and Saturday night stay requirements for lower fares. It's not unreasonable to change planes in order to save money. Many city pairs require a change of plane, and people still fly them. However, it *is* unreasonable to expect business travellers or people visiting dying or recently deceased relatives to wait three weeks before departing and hang around until Sunday morning. That's where the price discrimination is.
