yup, the last part of your post is spot on ^ and also to add that as a 1k dropping only to 1p, my e-500's will still keep auto expiring.

Why not pay for your MR with choices?
If you can find a $300 MR for 4533 miles, you can pay for it in FULL with 30,000 choices. If I was out of work and had time on my hands I'd be happy to fly.
I am in the uncomfortable position of being 1097 EQM short of 150k and 2 SWU. They are worth the 20,000 choices, but so close to having to use only half as much!
not working (and no work travel) has also caused me to cut down on my leisure travel & m/r's. when i say $$$ is tight, it's real tight and with only two weeks to pull off a m/r (12/16-12/31) as i can't do anything prior, i'm looking at the easiest option.

yup money is tight and as to my mp balance, i'll take all comers but you gotta line up behind goalie-parents and goalie-sis
