Oh yeah, YUL is the worst IMHO.

Reasons include:

-crowded, crowded EVERYWHERE
-ridiculously small baggage claim area - completely out of proportion to the flight volume
-worst lineups for security, customs, checkin etc (arguably not all management issues, but the consistency points that way)
-poor choices for food - dining area always overcrowded

...and reliably grumpy AC staff - again not a management issue, but...

I specifically avoid connecting through YUL for these reasons - makes YYZ feel like a dream.

One redeeming factor? Excellent beer in the MLL.

Such a shame that such a great city is so poorly represented by its airport.
