Blue Nile is a great place to buy diamonds. Your local jeweler is much more likely to be overpriced and talk you into buying smth way too expensive by playing on your emotions.

The other alternative I can suggest is costco - you'll see the thing in person and pricing is gonna be good - but no miles in this case.

Overall blue nile service was excellent when I shopped there a couple years ago.
