Here are some bus/taxi connections I can recommend:

For central Kowloon - take Cityflyer A22. First stop in the city is on Jordan Road. Get off the bus, and immediately you'll see taxi cabs pulling up. A22 is much much faster than A21 which goes though congested NW Kowloon.

For western HK Island - take Cityflyer A11. First stop after the Western Harbour Tunnel is at the Macau Ferry (Shun Tak Center). Adjacent to the bus stop is the taxi stand.

For eastern HK Island (North Point and east) - take Cityflyer A12. First stop after it gets off the Eastern Island Corridor highway is at the Ibis. There are usually taxis right there.
