OMG! Finally someone else who shares my opinion of the Opus! All of my colleagues LOVE The Opus and despite being "forced" to stay there four times, I REALLY don't get it. The last time I stayed there, I complained about being put in a smoking room with ashtrays. The completely straight-faced response from the front desk was that all of their rooms are non-smoking but that they allow people to smoke in the room that I was in because of the [tiny] balcony. I declined to continue the completely illogical discussion.

For my money, its the Wall Centre 2x - 3x a month. Given the price and the location, I can deal with the indifferent service. Granted, it does help knowing which rooms to accept and which rooms to decline, though I've never been refused a room switch even after check in.
