I looked through the new bmi website bugs & reports thread, and did not find anything resembling this (though reports of status miles only showing under "recent activity" bears a superficial resemblance). Last week, I flew MIA-ORD-HNL-DEN-SAT on a UA Q-UP fare (Booked into "A" Class - First). I have, naturally, retained all UA BPs (reflecting proper DiamondClub Number) and a receipt for my e-ticket.
As of today, my Diamond Club account online shows only the HNL-DEN-SAT portion as posted, with 0 Destination Miles and 0 Status Miles for each of those two segments. Is this a known bug when flights first post (I'm rather new to BD), or has the posting of my itinerary been bumbled by BD's computer system?
When miles post, it's usually a 2 step process. The actual addition of the miles happens overnight, so check again in the morning to see if the correct number have posted. You might have to wait a few days for the MIA-ORD-HNL bit to show up. If not then a manual credit will be required.
Every time I have flown on UA, the miles have posted within about a week.
