While I understand the confusion around NW's "Y-UP" fares, I would like NW to continue to sell them. In the 90's, I was based in CMH and flew NW quite frequently. The "Y-up" fares were a godsend. Often, my company would have to pay full fare coach and I would get a first class seat! It was great!

Sorry for the confusion over the bonus miles situation, but it works out well for many NW flyers.
