ACV was where, after a 4 hour delay, UA lost my elderly aunt. No money, no phone, no one to contact, she ended up in DEN instead of MCO, then spent the night at IAD (because we were all down at MCO for my brother's wedding) until a very sweet UA GA let her use her personal cell phone to call me and tell me where she was and what I wanted her to do now. It was a little hair-raising.
Surprisingly, she's anxious to try it again!
How did the agents in ACV "lose" your grandmother? I'm interested in hearing the specifics of your story. And when was this?
Kudos to her for wanting to keep her independence and sense of adventure (which is, after all, what flying on UA is like!).
