On a recent flight (ORD-ORF), the FA placed a menu and a small note in my hand. She had obviously done it up with her own computer. It asid: "Dear 1K, As a valued customer, please insure you receive your preferred meal choice, by writing it on this note and discreetly returning it to me." Pretty nifty I thought. No fuss and no big display in front of the other passengers.
