The bonus posted after the first statement along with the earned miles. It was indicated separately as bonus miles instead of purchase miles even though all miles are EQM. I've had good experiences with miles posting promptly every month after that. I did have problems receiving my referral bonus which did not post until contacting Amex a few months later. Would be more than happy to refer any FTer interested in the French FB Amex which gets me a 5k referral bonus and the standard 3k sign up bonus and first year fee waiver for the new card member.
