LOL! No quite. Actually, not even close!

Seriously, I think it was such a big deal for us simply because we lived well below the poverty level at the time and spending that kind of money on ANYTHING short of a real estate was pretty big news for us.

OK, so maybe those good ol' days weren't so good that I'd volunteer to repeat them... and I'm guessing that my memories of them are a bit shinier with the years.
