Mmmmm... I was told that Tom. juice is not available, even on the Lgw-Abz domestic flight, because of the reduced crew numbers and because it takes a while to make the (inevitable) Bloody Mary.... and only the bird seed... no real food, despite the 18.40 departure. (Saturday)
and no, I couldn't have a drink, birdseed and a coffee...... despite having paid a lot for my ticket... and they had run out of G&T by row two...
Having flown Ryanair recently, I was able to purchase a large cup of fairtrade coffee, a proper drink and a half-decent snack, and priority boarding meant that I was able to sit at the over-wing exit on the brand new 737-800, all this to/from LGW /DUB and keener priced as well. Come on BA, you can do better- why not introduce CE on domestics?
