To go in Club you need 100,000 BAmiles, First takes 150,000.

That's equivalent to only £625 of clubcard vouchers, which is a piece of cake to collect in as little as 6 months - I had £300 this quarter without really trying and have collected over 500,000 BA miles in the last 2 years.

To get the second seat, go for a 241 with an AMEX card - again pretty easy. Do taek out one of the other cards first if you want to keep the fee down.

Availability to PHX is wide open for Feb / March right now, so there isobviously some seats around. Never looked at the Autumn though, so can't comment on that, although you can check after joining the BAEC.

So just join BAEC, get collecting those miles and book the seat - I would say a realistic challenge wth a bit of 'Scamming' would be to be going for this September, anything after that isn't really that much of a challenge.
