I have been looking at converting clubcard vouchers to BA Miles. I wont start the serious collection of points to next year but even then It will take me at least a year.

If I manage to 'scam' enough points out of Tesco through their deals and redeem them for BA miles. I will need 200,000 for Business or 300,000 for first class meaning I need between £800-£1250 of vouchers depending on which class to go. That hopefully shouldnt be a problem.

However I have read that BA doesnt always release seats on their planes for executive club. Is this true. Also what are the chances of getting two seats on LHR-PHX in September in either Business or First (looking to go in 3-5 yrs time)

Is there any tips that are avaliable to secure the seats?

Also at the moment I am not a member of the executive club.

I have heard about the 241 offer has this being going for a long time? Is there any chance I could get it just collecting from Tesco and will it be avaliable in 3-5 years time?
