non-smoking?

I'm using points plus cash for a stay there next December. However, when I also selected non-smoking, the only option was 22000 Rupee upscale room. Are the rooms that aren't officially non-smoking smoky, smelly? Are there ionizers, air purifiers? Are the public spaces and restaurants smoky?

I'm going to a meeting at the Taj Palace, so this hotel and the cash and points works out very nicely for me.
