The first class fare search on Farecompare.com is useful tool to get you started and I personally like using AA.com to close the deal. If you are looking at more eclectic routings, be careful not to select AA flight numbers operated by other airlines, such as Alaska Airlines or Hawaiian Airlines as you will not be entitled to earn tier points on these flights.
