What a shocker!

I'm a UA crewmember who also happens to be AC *Gold.

I rarely use the RCC club, but today had some time between my working trip and a paid AC ticket. Its been years since I have been in the RCC.

- No free drinks ( I know, I have read it previously but wow! )
- No food to speak of (there were apples and applesauce)
- A sign on entry saying "No outside food."

WHAT? HOW ABOUT SOME INSIDE FOOD?!?!?

It truly is sad that airlines such as AC, LH, SK offer so much to their *G (not to mention more to their own FF's) YYZ MLL comes to mind.....great lounge, polite service lounge staff.


What are UA's excuses for this. Has anyone gotten an email/letter detailing why it is necessary to pull out CASH (cash only) for a beer in the RCC? What about international travellers who may not have stopped by the ATM?

Its a bit laughable.
