Neiman only accepts AMEX or their store card in-store. But, I distinctly remember Neiman accepting Visa maybe early in 2007 at their store in Union Square when I didn't have an AMEX card on me. They told me they would accept Visa but not Mastercard at that time. It was a small purchase, only perfume however.

"According to the April 26, 2007 issue of The Wall Street Journal, Neiman Marcus is quietly testing a co-branded credit card issued by HSBC with some of their top customers. The card, which runs on the American Express network, will be rolled out on a wider basis later in 2007 or in early 2008. The five-year agreement Neiman Marcus has with HSBC does allow for such a card."
