Which method did you choose to be notified of your upgrade. I chose e-mail and a phone call to our landline. Sometimes e-mails don;t show up. Usually I find myself checking my upgrade status through "view or change your reservations". SO, by the time notification arrives, I already know. The e-mail comes within a day after the upgrade and the phone calls shortly after the e-mail. E-mail notification is nice if you are travelling, especially abroad. Phone calls are useful too when you are unable to get on line, which is rather rare.

I have one complaint about the phone calls. It doesn't tell you who got the upgrade. When you have 4 Plats in the family, notification without identifying who has been upgraded makes the effort useless. Maybe NW can announce the WP number during the call. It's not a big deal but a phone call that doesn't identify the upgradee is, sometimes annoying, especially when you are rushing around trying to do many things and are looking for a job too. I thought of switching notification to our cell phones, but have been unable to do it.
