After NOT receiving a cup of coffee or pre-flight cocktail, and not having my jacket taken several times last year, I simply changed my modus opperandi: I always place my suit coat over the back of my seat and make smiling eye contact with the first FA I see. By the time he or she gets to my seat they're offering/asking if I'd like my jacket taken (as if I wanted it hung over the back of the seat throughout the flight). My reply is to ignore the sarcastic question and request a glass of white wine, scotch, etc. Several times I was advised that cocktail service will begin shortly after take-off and I looked them square in the eyes and calmly stated that I wished a beverage NOW, please. Obviously I'd never make such a request if we were delayed or it was obviously not timly, but otherwise I don't hesitate to make my requests known. It hasn't happened, but if I was refused and not provided an explanation I'd step off the plane to contact the Station Manager (I'm never traveling with more than a garment bag and laptop, so switching to another flight wouldn't be a to-do anyway...); when upgraded to FC, basic FC treatment is all I require and expect.
