I dont know if it will make a difference but we will be going via the Premium Terminal rather than the normal transit scrum.

Qatars own website says Doha have adopted the EU rules. That should mean that as long as our bottles are sealed in a clear bag with their receipt at the duty free shop, they should let them through, I note "should" !

I very much doubt they will sell Morgans Spice Rum in Doha or BKK, it seems to be quite a Scottish drink! (not to be confused with Captain Morgans Rum)

The duty Free shop in the Premium terminal is awful. Guess I'll ask at check in at LGW and see what they say. I might just have to buy Bacardi at BKK instead
