The Clear program (my view) is another fed rip off. If this was an important security program the TSA would be doing/managing it them selves. Farming it out to independent companies that charges $100+ a year for the privlidge is insane. If the feds want to charge a one time security check fee, fine. They should then issue a card that is good for like 10 years (like a passport). If your security status changes they can always re-voke your access rights (and when u use the machine it will deny access). The Clear program was suppose to expideite security but it has been designed to line the pockets of private companies, with yearly fees, that are friends of xxxxxx (fill in the xxx).
