We will be in Rome for three nights in August and then will be driving with another couple to rent a villa in Tuscany for a week. We would like to rent either a station wagon or SUV.

Appreciate any guidance about good companies to deal with.

Also, on the way back, will be spending one more night in Rome and then taking an early flight. Thinking with the early flight, we might be better off staying at the airport. Any suggestions for decent hotels at the airport?
