This will be my first trip to Paris - I arrive next Sunday afternoon at Gare du Nord and am staying at the Holiday Inn Garden Court at 24 Rue de Miromesnil. I speak very little French but have traveled subways in Tokyo alone speaking very little Japanese and managed to not get lost. I hope someone in Paris may be able to tell me if I will be OK following these directions from a friend.

She said to take the 4 line to the Starabourg Saint-Denis stop, transfer to the 9 line to Miromesnil stop and I should be close to the hotel.

My question is -- is this right, and will the strike affect this routing? Thank you very much.
