No more Fast Track at LGW which stinks! However, you can sign up for Iris Scanning (but only on the way OUT of the UK, not IN).

The UK passport holder is gonna get through more quickly than the US passport holder. Last time I went to Gatwick in September the line was 2.5 hours long. Longest I ever had to wait. Normally it's more like 10-25 minutes. The Friday before I had arrived (I came in on a Sunday morning), the wait was 5 hours.

I signed up for Iris Scan when I left in September so that I can enter more easily next time.
