you also might want to try CC before you burn a EVIP on a transcon 757 flight. perhaps you can trade with someone for the 15k upgrade award in exchange for the evip. that's a trade i would be interested. I also think it is very unlikely that any F seats will be open on that flight for upgrade. You should keep checking EF just in case. Good luck!
I thought eVIP was worth more than 15K miles considering upgrading to Hawaii now requires $150 charge. I have 4 eVIPs left for this year and just earned another 8. Would like to make the best use of them.
