I'm thinking of renting a car at LHR on Wednesday rather than take the tube-train-taxi to my mom's house in Ashford. Although I've been going to the UK 3 times a year for the last 20 years, I've yet to drive there. That being said, if I book a car at Hertz at LHR will my valid Arizona drivers license be valid for UK driving?

I'm not too worried about the drive, although I've never driven in the UK (as odd as it sounds). I'll hop on the M25 to the M20 and exit at at the Ashford junction, although the only angst I have is the huge roundabout at this junction. I'm sure I'll be fine, but just curious about license requirements.
