I have the expandable version. It's great when you end up coming home with more than you left with (especially international trips). As a last resort, you can always check it after expanding it.

The warranty and bag quality is great. I've had it in for repairs twice (I'm very hard on bags) -- much less repairs than any other bag I've used for the same period of time. The store gave me a loaner bag (exact same style) each time too.
