Yeah, I'm going to say that's how it actually is. Unless you have enough seniority to put in leave (and it actually be accepted) for that WEEK, not just the days of and after, you'll be at work. Of course, my airport is DEAD on Thanksgiving so we don't need to be fully staffed for a crowd of crumpled paper and airport employees, but just in case, we are.
