When I came back from TLS a week ago, I asked at check in whether OW had access to the lounge, and they said yes (but unfortunately I missed the follow on question "where is it"). I could not find a lounge after going through, and asked at the bar, who told me it was closed. So is the croix du sud lounge still there (but a secret)?

I was also surprised that all we were given with drinks coming back in ET at 18:25 was a packet of imitation nuts.

First time that i have not had the ubiquitous BA roll. The explanation on ba.com of which flights get a snack is pretty much unintelligible:

Euro Traveller

On all of our European flights you can enjoy breakfast with fresh coffee and tea. Complimentary snacks and drinks are served throughout the rest of the day.

On flights to and from London Heathrow of up to 1½ hours, we offer a complimentary drinks service mid-morning and mid-afternoon.
The second paragraph only seems to reiterate the previous sentence. Does it mean that to/from Gatwick there is no complimentary drinks service mid-morning and mid-afternoon?? And why no food in the evening for a flight of over 1½ hours to Gatwick?
