Great Friday post ! I laughed quite hard at your good natured description of a really shi**y situation.

I do disagree that you got everything you deserved. At some point, somebody has to realize that it's time to get you home, and if that means putting you on other metal, so be it. But JFK is not the best place to experience some of Delta's famous hospitality. I am Platinum and I still get treated like a stowaway with bad BO at JFK. The airline industry has successfully lowered the bar of expectations to the point that if they don't kill you on your journey, you got what you paid for.
