13 hours in Dubai - hotel accommodation?
I have booked my tickets online, emirates.com, for JFK - BKK. Onward journey, there is a 13 hour stopover in Dubai. Before I purchased the tickets, I called the customer service to confirm if I will be provided hotel accommodation. The lady I spoke to on the phone said yes, I will be. After I purchased the tickets, I didn't see any confirmation on the hotel accommodation. When I called the customer service about this, they assured me they will provide me with accommodation.
I am not comfortable not having any kind of written/email confirmation. When I reach Dubai, what if they tell me no hotel accommodation is available? Is there anything else I can do, beside keeping my fingers crossed?
