Couldn't have said it better myself.
GE based in STL. No more than an hour flying time to any of the three hubs and mainline to each (though MEM is back to just 1x daily mainline). I still get stuck on AA 5-6 times per year and let me tell you...NW has an incredible crew of CSAs in STL, especially compared to all the grey-haired grouchy old men and women at AA (granted, I think they're mostly all disgruntled ex-TW peeps).
