or if you aren't in a hurry you could ticket on a later flight from IAD to LAX, different flight number, 2 segments and miles calculated per segment. Remember, you have 24 hours for connecting on Int'l tickets, not just 4 hours for domestic US trips. Have anyone to visit in IAD?
