I agree that Citi Plat Amex is the best deal for the first two years. You could also add the Citi PremPass NONelite card, which has no annual fee. Flight points accrue at 1 point for every 3 miles flown (more in line with your spending and flying habits) and you will have access to the fixed point redemption schedule, with your points from both cards pooled into a single account. The nonelite card also comes with a signup bonus of 10K points, which can be matched with flight points.
