I wonder how recent it was. On my 2 latest Eagle flights elites were definitely boarded first. In fact, on one it seemed like the GA was VERY attentive to who was about to board; she preboarded one passenger, and then invited "Platinums, members of the Armed Forces in uniform" paused for about a minute, and then boarded group 1. I guess she knew there weren't any EXPs on that flight (or at least I suspect there weren't.)
On a related note, I don't know how long they've been doing this but I've noticed recently that those (usually elderly) flyers who need assistance in boarding have been called up by name to board first, followed by the usual boarding process. Is this new or have I just not been paying attention?
