This has been both good & bad for me-- depending on the UA Agent.

The Bad: Generally occurs when the UA emp. is substantially older. I'm 23...so I'm talking people in their late 30s, 40s, 50s. (Of course, these people are all young, as my father always reminds me! ). I tend to think that these people, who see young'ns with high status may become jealous-- perhaps curious as to why somebody at such a young age flies so much.

The Good: When you have those UA emps. who are similar in age. On a flight from LAX-ORD, I had a supermodel FA treat me like God. And she's no dummy-- I'm sure she looked on the manifest to see my status, I was dressed very casually, I'm decent looking-- so she had bona fide information leading her to believe that I have a bit of merit!

But take the advice from the seniors on the board...I'm sure we'll miss this someday...and probably too soon!
