Mrs CC and I stayed here a few weeks ago on points. As a Plat, they upgraded us to a "Jr Suite" - a slightly larger room, right on the Ocean (it was smoking, but so new that you could not tell).
The $15 fee/pp per day resort fee we did get hit with - common on the island. That said, there was no bellman fee on my bill, so I am glad I still tipped them.
The construction could not be heard from our room, but we did notice it in the Lobby and the beach. Should be done in 2-3 more months.
Staff were good (despite many reviews I have read), but prices in Hotel were a little over the top, so we did not eat there. We did eat next door (where the casino is) and it was reasonable (for the island).
